MARC R. LEFFLER
Dr. Leffler practiced Oral Surgery in New York City, in private practice and academic settings, from 1986-1997. He maintained attending privileges at Bellevue Hospital Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, St. Clare’s Hospital, and St. Barnabas Hospital, and had faculty appointments at New York University College of Dentistry, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. More recently, he has lectured on an annual basis to dental students at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, at the national meeting of the American College of Legal Medicine and to dental study groups, on the subject of risk management. Dr. Leffler has published on the topics of orthognathic surgery, out-patient general anesthesia in dentistry, endosseous implants, and pre-prosthetic surgery. He has performed research on pre-malignant oral lesions and allergic responses to dental materials.
In addition to being a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Marc is a seasoned trial attorney with a strong track record of success at trial and as an appellate advocate.
Since 1998, Dr. Leffler has practiced law in the areas of dental and medical malpractice. He has tried many cases to verdict, and has attained many significant verdicts on behalf of his clients.
